What moves your profit most
How this calculator works (and why every number adds up)
- Every order you receive costs ad money. Fake or unconfirmed orders are cancelled before dispatch, so they only waste ad spend. Shipped orders cost packaging and delivery. Returned parcels also cost a return charge, but the product comes back to your stock. Only delivered orders pay you.
- Cost per delivered order = product + delivery & packaging + ads + fees + the share of returns and fake orders that each delivered order has to carry.
- Suggested price = cost per delivered order (before fees) ÷ (1 − fees % − target margin %), then rounded up, so you always get at least your target margin.
- Margin vs markup: margin is profit ÷ selling price, markup is profit ÷ cost. A 30% margin is a 42.9% markup — that is why a 30% margin price is higher than “cost + 30%”.
- Break-even price is the lowest price that covers every cost per delivered order. Max ad cost per order is the CPA at which profit per order drops to zero. Break-even ROAS = selling price ÷ max ad cost per order — compare it with the ROAS in Ads Manager.
- The monthly statement counts whole orders and rounds each line to the nearest rupee. Totals are worked out from those rounded lines, so the statement always adds up exactly. Per-order figures are averages, so multiplying them by order counts can be a few rupees off.
- The goal planner finds the smallest number of monthly orders that reaches your goal using the same statement, assuming your price, costs and return rates stay the same as you grow.
